Recipe | Fried Apples

Servings: 2 people as a side dish or 1 hungry person

Ingredients:

2 tbsp butter
4 apples, any kind you have, peeled, cored and sliced
1-2 tsp cinnamon, to taste
2 tbsp sugar, to taste, optional, depends on how sweet your apples are
1 tsp vanilla extract, optional, sometimes I add it

Supplies:

Cutting board
Pairing knife
Sauce pan or cast iron skillet
Stirring tool

Instructions:

Put your pan on medium heat and add your butter to melt. While it melts, process your apples and add them to your pan as you go. Add final ingredients to taste. Cook until done, depending on how soft you like your apples and how soft they already were prior to cooking. The average cook time is 5-10 mins. Enjoy immediately with a side of buttered biscuits.

Tips:

Make a lot more than you think because once you realize how tasty they are, you'll be glad you listened to me. :)
